3KM rangefinder

The advanced laser rangefinder utilizes a cutting-edge location calculating algorithm to accurately measure distances up to 3000 meters and determine the longitude and latitude of the target. With a 1535nm laser wavelength and measurement accuracy within 2 meters, this system can reliably detect targets such as vehicles and humans even in challenging conditions. This feature is essential for drone patrol and inspection applications, allowing operators to easily pinpoint and share suspicious target coordinates with supervisors. Additionally, drones can autonomously track the target based on the provided coordinates, ensuring continuous surveillance and precise monitoring in real-time.

Thermal imager

3-axis gimbal

Storm Eye-20IE-MK Camera is equipped with 3-axis gimbal, which allows for a full 360° rotation in the Yaw direction with  ±0.02° accuracy, and a pitch range of +45° to -164° with angle jitter of ±0.01°, enabling Storm Eye-20IE-MK camera more precise target tracking capability.

AI recognition and tracking

Based on advanced cross-correlation, tracking, and object miss recapturing algorithms, the Storm Eye-20IE-MK camera features AI-powered automatic recognition of people and vehicles. This enables continuous, stable object tracking on both the daylight zoom camera and the thermal imager, ensuring precise surveillance in any environment.

Fly by camera

Thanks to the camera’s radar rangefinder and real-time integration with the UAV, the Fly by Camera feature enables Yangda drones to autonomously circle around moving objects. This functionality is crucial for applications such as search and rescue, surveillance, and inspection, providing continuous tracking and enhanced operational efficiency in dynamic environments.

Monitor target movement status via GCS 

The pilot can use the LAUNCH GCS to monitor the target’s movement status, such as real-time updated GPS coordinates, the distance between the target and the drone, as well as the distance between the target and the HOME position.

Fast deploy and simple gimbal control  

The 3-axis EO/IR drone gimbal supports YDPORT quick attach and release mechanism, making gimbal installation fast and convenient. Meanwhile,  the drone gimbal supports S.bus, TTL serial port, and ethernet. With the help of YDlink gimbal control software, gimbal control is simple and easy.

MAVLINK compatible

Storm Eye-20IE-MK drone gimbal is compatible with drones powered by PX4 and Ardupilot, making integration relatively convenient.
